The plantation is divided into three tracts. The hunting will be conducted on the Phillips Tract and Whonic Tract, totaling about 1,000 acres. The Clifton Tract is used as a refuge and for nature studies. | |

The Clifton Tract totals about 1,000 acres which is made up of pine plantation and river bottom land. There are numerous roads and trails through these bottomlands offering members and guests views of local wildlife as well as numerous varieties of trees and plants, including stands of cypress and cedar. A walk along the river bank and sandbars is always interesting, you never know what you may see: gators, deer, boar or turkey. | |

Directly across the Altamaha River from the plantation is located one of the great treasures of the State of Georgia, the Great Moody Swamp Natural Area. Anyone interested in nature will surely enjoy a walk through Moody Swamp. One of the largest and oldest stands of cypress are located here at Gator Lake. | |
